“Can You Feel The Beat? Relieving stress at work in Istanbul” başlığıyla yayınlanan Hürriyet Daily News yazısının tamamı şöyle:
Despite the high-stress life of an Istanbul businessperson that includes meetings, deals and traffic, there is always a way to have fun in the city, even in working life.
Human resources departments are looking for new motivation methods for their employees to relax them in stressful business life and bond them more with the company they work for.
Therefore, Ritmpark is offering companies a workshop in a team work with percussion. In the past five years they performed in more than 300 events for more than 200 companies. They are already booked for the future dates.
As Ritmpark says, “It’s time to have fun doing it instead of just watching it.”
According to surveys, rhythm activities integrate the left and the right side of brain, stimulate team work, develop concentration, motivate employees and create synergy.
Multinational companies are aware of this powerful side of rhythm all around the world and are using the method in local or global organizations a lot. This is not a new concept for the world, as it has been done for several years in the United States and Europe by big companies, but it’s new in Istanbul.
Ritmpark works with the HR departments of the companies; making scenarios or presentations and combining them with rhythm works so that employees can relax, have personal development and find an interesting way to learn new values while avoiding the old boring presentations. Some companies also use the method as an after-work event to create synergy in the company.
This is what happens: When the attendees come to the workshop they choose an instrument that they want to play. At the end of the workshop the music with good rhythm and resonance is achieved and there is a big applause with rhythm they make themselves.
At the end of the workshop attendees can keep the instrument they played.
If one works hard, at least make it fun, no?
